## Klostermann’s Statistics Against RB Leipzig
### By: James L. Hargrove
#### In this article, I will provide an analysis of the statistics provided by Robert Knopf for the 2016–2017 season of the German Bundesliga. These statistics include goals scored and conceded per game, as well as possession time on the ball. The goal-scoring rate was significantly lower than expected, with only 4.5 goals in 288 games played.
#### The statistics show that while RB Leipzig had some notable performances during the season, their overall performance was not up to expectations. Their goal-scoring rate of just 3.9 goals per game was below the average of 4.3 goals per game that many believed they could achieve. This indicates that RB Leipzig may have struggled with maintaining possession or finishing well enough to score goals in their limited number of matches.
#### Additionally, the team’s defensive efficiency was also low, ranking at the bottom of the league in terms of shots taken (158) and saves made (86). This suggests that RB Leipzig may have been more vulnerable to scoring from their own penalty area compared to other teams, particularly when defending against attacks that were focused on attacking play.
#### Overall, the statistics suggest that RB Leipzig's chances of achieving their goals in the upcoming season remain slim. While they did manage to make one goal, it was a disappointing effort, and their overall performance is likely to be even worse if they continue to struggle with defense and offensive execution. It would be interesting to see how RB Leipzig fares in their next match against a stronger team such as Bayern Munich, who are currently leading the Bundesliga standings with six points.
